Miles brings over a decade of theatre management experience to the team at The Playhouse Theatre. After graduating MA Creative Producing at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he has independently produced and directed theatre in London and Edinburgh. Since late 2025, the addition of Miles has sparked a new energy within the theatre which now storms forward into its ‘Thrive’ era.

Chaos Organiser – Teacher – Cat Lover
Gerry joined the Playhouse in 2021 and, like many before her, she felt the pull of the theatre and stuck around to help the building flourish. Having learnt the way of the Playhouse, and utilising her Master’s degree in Touring Theatre, Gerry has seen the theatre through thick and thin. She’s always on hand to help sort a technical issue and loves to teach budding technicians everything she knows.
Ollie Chapman
Technician
Tech Expert – Dependable – Tired
When it comes to Tech, there is nothing Ollie can’t do. Having joined the Playhouse in 2023 he has helped many a visiting company get their show on the stage, running lights, sound and everything in between. He gained his degree in Technical and Production Management from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama which he puts to good use when designing and building sets including the set for the Christmas Panto at the Playhouse.
