Hosted by Matt Nolan and an array of wild wannabe celebrities as they battle out to win the ultimate singing competition!

Will Freddie rock you? Will Elton have his crocodile shoes? Will Celine's heart go on or will Cher really believe In love? There's only one way to find out if these stars grace our stage, by buying a ticket to this comedy filled tribute show to some of the greatest singers of all time.

Featuring a whole host of regular performers from the MNC universe all in aid of raising vital funds for the Cheltenham Playhouse.

So, grab a ticket for what promises to be a jam packed night of comedy and stunning vocals, which is sure to leave you dancing in the aisles with stars in your eyes!

West Coast Eagles are one of the most authentic tributes to the Eagles.

Formed from dedicated professionals they will bring to you great songs such as Hotel California, New Kid in Town, Lying Eyes, Desperado to name but a few.

The evening will be filled will all of the Eagles masterpieces that you will know and love.

This is a great night out for all ages and you will be amazed by the authenticity and accuracy of “West Cost Eagles” portrayal of their heroes – The Legend that is The Eagles.

Go beyond the curtains and backstage at The Cheltenham Playhouse and learn how theatre productions are brought to life at this historic building. Matt Nolan will guide you through all the backstage areas, and you will learn about the operations of the theatre whilst exploring the buildings' interesting past.

Fancy a dip into the history of the old Montpellier baths? Well, you'll even see the remains of the swimming pool!

An interesting perspective of one of Cheltenham's oldest buildings!

Approx 60 minutes, walking tour.

Please note this tour is throughout a complex historical building with various steps, unstable surfaces and other hazards; therefore, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or young children. If demand exists, we are keen to also run more accessible versions of the tour for those who would benefit. Please let us know via access@cheltplayhouse.org.uk to register your interest.

Please note these tours will be taking place in a working theatre. This may mean the tours may vary depending on what is going on in the building.

Please Note: The tour starts on time, so to ensure access to the venue, please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time. Bring an electronic or paper print out of ticket due to the box office not being open on the day.

performances are open to friends, family, and the general public.

For those who may want to enrol in our school, our Tutors will also

be on hand to answer any questions regarding Theatre Studio for

prospective students and parents.

THE VOX BEATLES - One of the UK's leading premier professional authentic Beatles Tribute bands

UKs Premier Tribute to Meat Loaf are returning to the Playhouse after sell-out performances last year! 

MeatLoud cover songs from a range of MeatLoaf’s albums from Bat out of Hell in (1977) to Bat out of Hell III (2005).

With a rich blend of backing vocals, driving piano, out of this world guitar playing, a rocking rhythm section and the outstanding vocal talents of Sally Rivers and of course MeatLoud himself, Andy Plimmer - They deliver a night never to forget.

Presenting a number of MeatLoaf's greatest hits mixed in with songs by Jim Steinman for Bonnie Tyler plus songs by Cher. 

MeatLoud create an incredible experience for all MeatLoaf fans.

Sarah is a lifelong fan of Olivia Newton John. As a recording artist herself Sarah’s natural voice and mannerisms are often found to bear a striking resemblance to this very much loved and sadly missed Australian beauty.

Look forward to a nostalgic, fun and touching journey through several decades of music by Olivia Newton John.

"English rebellions by their very nature are generally bloodthirsty affairs." Hear ye, hear ye: Johnny “Rooster” Byron is in town.

On St George's Day, the morning of the local county fair, Johnny Byron is a wanted man. The Council officials want to serve him an eviction notice, his son wants his dad to take him to the fair, Troy Whitworth wants to wreak his revenge and a motley crew of mates wants his ample supply of drugs and alcohol.

Jez Butterworth's legendary classic will explode onto the Cheltenham Playhouse stage with an exceptional creative team, led by director Simon Young with producer and designer Matt Nolan.

JERUSALEM premiered at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in 2009, directed by Ian Rickson and starring Mark Rylance in an astonishing performance as Johnny Byron.  It won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play in 2009, and transferred to the West End in 2010, to Broadway in 2011, and back to the West End in October 2011.

CODS return to the Playhouse in 2025 with tales of love and bank robbery in the compelling adventures of Bonnie and Clyde!

When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer.

Opening night tickets are discounted by £2 each until 50% of opening night tickets are sold.

Promenade Productions presents ELF the Musical!

A title known the world over, Elf The Musical is a must-produce holiday musical that can easily become an annual tradition for any theatre. Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar (The Wedding Singer) and Chad Beguelin (Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), with a book by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone).

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
