Fundraising

We are incredibly happy to annouce that we have reached our intitial target of £50k by the end of June, offering hope for our incredible community arts venue.

We have secured this £50k thanks to generous donations from the public, local production companies, charities, trusts, our own fundraising events and a generous grant from the Cheltenham Borough Council.

“Hitting our initial June target allows us to move out of pure survival mode and into business recovery mode. Our outlook is positive based on the progress we have made in the past few weeks. This is a real milestone not just financially, but mentally as it frees us up to start moving the whole charity forward. However we don’t rest; we still need to secure a further £50k before the end of 2025 to know that we are truly out of the woods. We are hoping the progress we have made early into our fundraising journey allows potential donors to feel more confident that their money can make a positive difference."

Neil Burge, acting chair, the board of trustees.

We are still collecting donations via our £80k for 80 Years fundraising page on JustGiving, which you can read more about here.

Over the next few months, some of our incredible local companies are putting on fundraising shows in our Green Room Bar as part of our Season of Fundraising. These shows will help us reach our next goal of a further £50k by the end of 2025. You can read more about the Season of Fundraising, and see which shows are involved here.
